Volckano and ZhuiGuang Workshop (PerseWorks) gave master's students at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics an open class on industrial AIGC production.
The class used the short film Xiaofang as its example: every frame is AI-generated, and none of it is wrong. The film has 10 scenes and 96 shots, took about two days and cost about ¥2,000.

Finish the designs first, then make each shot
The class went through production step by step. Step 3, design, for example:
- Build all 5 characters, 24 sets and 16 props before making any shot.
- Keep every set board empty of people; characters are added separately.
- Turn reference research into three-view assets, and draw every shot from them, so the film stays consistent.
Random generation rarely gets every shot right. Fixing characters, sets and props as assets first, then working shot by shot, is how the HollywoodFactory production line works.
