"Made in China, sold overseas" sounds simple. In practice, one order passes through a factory, a shipping line, a railway, customs, a warehouse and a local seller. Every hand-off can lose time or money. Anchor4PL is the B2B sourcing and logistics platform Volckano built in Canada to make that whole chain visible.
What Anchor4PL does
- Launched in 2022. Building-material and home-goods buyers in North and Latin America order directly from factories in Foshan, Guangzhou and nearby cities.
- The platform suggests a shipping plan from each order's weight and volume.
- Products include ceramic tiles, PU and wood flooring, bathroom fixtures (toilets, showers, ceramic basins), gaming desks and tile tools. Larger items are sourced on request.
- The Anchor Premium dashboard follows each order from production and container loading to the port of loading, transshipment port, destination port and last mile.

Latin America
Anchor4PL was also developed and run in Latin America, with Guyana as a key market. In April 2023, for a buyer in Georgetown, we priced two 20-ft containers of tiles, bathroom fixtures and PU flooring, plus a 20-ft pontoon boat, all FOB Nansha. The platform also worked with Silica Port Development Inc., a large industrial warehouse and commercial complex project.
What this means today
The same chain can serve Chinese manufacturers who want to sell in North America: the factory ships, and Volckano handles Canadian customs, warehousing, delivery and introductions to local sellers.
