Exportación de servicios: por qué las fábricas chinas deberían exportar sus sistemas de IA, y no solo sus productos

For forty years, "going global" for a Chinese factory meant one thing: make a product, load a container, ship it. We have done this ourselves. See how one container of Guangzhou tiles reached Toronto stores. That model still works. But we think the bigger chance in the next ten years is different: exporting the way a factory runs.

Why now

What "exporting a system" means

It is not just selling software. A system that works in a factory in Foshan has three parts, and all three have to travel:

  1. The software: quality-check models, scheduling, inventory, dashboards.
  2. The data model: what gets measured, how, and what counts as "good".
  3. The management: work instructions, KPIs (the few numbers a team is judged on), daily routines, and the training that makes people actually use the tools.

Most attempts fail on the third part. The tool arrives. The habits do not.

Our approach in three steps

  1. Build it at home. We work with a factory in China to put AI into its real operations, and prove the results on its own lines first.
  2. Package it. We turn what worked into a kit that can be repeated: software, data model, playbooks, and training in the local language.
  3. Run it abroad. The factory takes the kit, often together with its equipment, to a partner plant or a new site overseas. We help set it up and support the local team until it runs on its own.

We have done a version of this before

Our Canadian team built Anchor4PL, a sourcing and logistics platform, and it was developed and run in Latin America with Guyana as a key market. Its dashboard follows every order from production in China to final delivery overseas. The lesson: a system travels well when it is designed for the people who will run it, not only the people who built it.
