Open House Real Estate Platform and MVP

One home base for Ontario home buyers, from first steps to closing.

Open House is a real estate website built for home buyers in Ontario. It is launching first in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Buying a home means working with many professionals. There is a long list of tasks spread across emails, calls and documents. Open House puts that work in one place. It shows buyers where they are, what comes next and what they need to decide.

Today, buyers can join the early list and get a free Ontario buyer roadmap. They can also create a free Buyer Dashboard. There they can prepare and build their team of mortgage (home loan), legal, inspection and insurance professionals. Tools for making an offer, negotiating and closing unlock once Open House becomes a registered brokerage. A brokerage is a company licensed to help people buy and sell homes. Open House is in the process of becoming a registered real estate brokerage in Ontario.

The platform is built around one simple flat fee, instead of a full buyer's-agent commission. A commission is a share of the home price paid to the agent. The flat fee is paid only if the buyer successfully buys. Service professionals can join a Founding Network. They receive introductions that buyers ask for themselves.

Software for home inspectors, mortgage, insurance and legal professionals

For professionals: tools for inspection, mortgage, insurance and legal work.

  • Free Ontario buyer roadmap

Join the early list with just an email and a rough timeline. The roadmap is sent to your email right away.

  • Buyer Dashboard

A private home base that matches the stage you are at. It shows one clear next step at a time, in plain language.

  • Build your team

Bring your own mortgage broker (who helps you find a home loan), lawyer, inspector or insurance broker. Or ask for an introduction to a participating professional.

  • Shared due-diligence view

Due diligence means the checks done before a purchase is final. After an offer is accepted, inspections, financing, insurance and legal review are tracked in one shared dashboard. Everyone sees what is done and what is left.

  • Founding Network for professionals

Home inspectors, mortgage brokers, lawyers and insurance brokers can join early. They get their own provider dashboard to manage requests.

  • Requests, not leads

Professionals only receive introductions that a buyer chooses to make, with consent. Contact details are shared only after the buyer asks. Paying never affects ranking.

  • Honest about its status

The site says clearly that it is pre-launch, meaning not fully open yet. It is not yet a registered brokerage. The tools that need a licence stay locked until it is.

  • Fee only on success

The planned pricing is one flat fee. It is paid only after a successful purchase. There are no hourly rates and no percentage of the price.

  • No surprise sales calls

Joining the early list does not lead to a call from an agent. Contact is by email only. You can unsubscribe at any time.
