Job and Business Content Recommendations

A Chinese-language life guide for Canada, with job listings matched to each user.

JiaJiaLe (家家乐) is a Chinese-language community website for people living in Canada. Most of its activity is in the Greater Toronto Area. It puts a job board and a local business directory (yellow pages) in one place. It works in Chinese and English.

The job section recommends listings to each user, based on what they do on the site. It also has Nearby and Newest views. Employers can post jobs. Job seekers can search by job title, keyword, company and location. The site also has company reviews and a salary guide.

In the directory, local businesses and residents post listings by category. The categories range from education, rentals and housing to food, business services, travel, health and second-hand goods. Users can follow listings, keep a history and message each other.
